it may take 8-10 new contracts before you'd upgrade. There are guys who are at 10 years now that are in the bottom 10% of the entire seniority list.

Don't go to work for a company that lies so blatantly before you even step into the building for an interview.

Recent interview info

Interviewed a few weeks ago. In the pool. Was told 15+ years to upgrade. Latitude or XL (6'2). Class dates likely around February.
I'm coming from a busier 135, run home-based biz, and zero desire for airlines.

We had two system chief pilots talk to us and HR reps all could not give us a start date of any kind all we got was a congrats your hired and we are putting you in the pool.
All they did say was the new aircraft they were getting every week but like the other line guys say they are just replacements for the aging fleet

This is what is so frustrating. What they are telling you is literally incorrect. The most junior CA is 12 years in, and the ONLY reason it is 12 years is because they upgraded some Phenom FOs because they couldn't get any any captains to bid into the Phenom lol. The reverse seniority issues are only getting worse and will always plague NJA.

Just know they are not running classes, they are not hiring and they are for SURE not upgrading. Once they do hire, you will be even further away from upgrading.
