I don't think anyone has a definite answer on this. I'll ask at recurrent this week and talk to the union hiring rep again. I talked to the union hiring rep last week. I think he is just as confused. The company usually keeps him in the dark.

If you're into conspiracy theories.... 135 Age 65 rumors are getting hot and fill a lot of the interview and hiring questions. The company endorsed the FAA privatization bill. Why would NJA do that? Who owes NJA a back scratch now? The Union sent out another age 65 related email last week. Everyone is closely watching the FAA authorization bill.

The IBI bargaining is probably also adding to some of the uncertainty for the company. IBI is suppose to wrap up next month. Sounds like some small pay increases through OT rules and increased COLA.

Be sure to convey to him that HR is playing people who go and interview and say congrats we will call you sometime but we do not no when. HR is spending a ton of money for nothing to fly people to CMH, two days of hotel, meal expenses, airport parking etc

He is fully aware. He strongly disagrees with the interview format also, but it's the company's show.

Im at Spirit and just put an application in to you all. The job and company is great if you can make it through first year pay. Reviewing the forum doesn't sound like much hiring on your side. Exactly WHY would you leave a decent contract, a nice enough airplane, and rapid advancement to attach your name to the bottom of the list at the stagnant, Shrub-infested, career backwater that NetJets has become?

The level to which NJA has its stuffy head up its ass is disturbing.

“We won’t hire you for another 4-5 months, but our owners can go stay at a four seasons while you get min rest in a Hilton Garden Inn.”

They would never string an owner along like they do with new hires that are pivotal to the success to the company, what a way to start the relationship.

I relayed the interviewee's headache to AJ and Bobo yesterday. Specifically the lack of communication and confusion of not being hired yet while interviews are being conducted. Short story is they said thanks.

that is more empathy than I expected. No joke, it is the "NetJets Way" to just flush everyone from the pool since there are a couple of people unhappy.

If you REALLY wanted the job, you'd call in tears offering to sweep the hangars and restock airplanes for the next 2 years before they run a class.

It is like you don't understand how great of a job it is. I feel sorry for you all.
