If you're into conspiracy theories.... 135 Age 65 rumors are getting hot and fill a lot of the interview and hiring questions. The company endorsed the FAA privatization bill. Why would NJA do that? Who owes NJA a back scratch now? The Union sent out another age 65 related email last week. Everyone is closely watching the FAA authorization bill.
The IBI bargaining is probably also adding to some of the uncertainty for the company. IBI is suppose to wrap up next month. Sounds like some small pay increases through OT rules and increased COLA.

I don't think anyone has a definite answer on this. I'll ask at recurrent this week and talk to the union hiring rep again. I talked to the union hiring rep last week. I think he is just as confused. The company usually keeps him in the dark.

He is fully aware. He strongly disagrees with the interview format also, but it's the company's show.

My uber driver last week going to work told me that same thing happened for him. He interviewed in may and has moved on as have the others in his group. It's been a train wreck process ever since Derinda left many years ago.
Company recurrent this week and AJ made it seem like something was going to happen soon with our elderly without actually saying it. Dropping to 1800 pilots is a bit of a stretch at this point. Anything is possible with a board of directors running this place.
I'm pondering a spirit class this week. Hired last week and I sit 200ish from the bottom here. Any other offer I would be over the moon. Decisions decisions

Im at Spirit and just put an application in to you all. The job and company is great if you can make it through first year pay. Reviewing the forum doesn't sound like much hiring on your side. If you do want to come over PM and I can help you. 62 New hires in class this month. Im 5 months longevity and already have 150 pilots under me.
Uh.....color me puzzled.
Exactly WHY would you leave a decent contract, a nice enough airplane, and rapid advancement to attach your name to the bottom of the list at the stagnant, Shrub-infested, career backwater that NetJets has become?

They would never string an owner along like they do with new hires that are pivotal to the success to the company, what a way to start the relationship.

If you REALLY wanted the job, you'd call in tears offering to sweep the hangars and restock airplanes for the next 2 years before they run a class.
It is like you don't understand how great of a job it is. I feel sorry for you all.
