I agree, MM is part of the problem. Let's face it, bid packs are delayed again for 2 days. Unacceptable.

That was my doing. I've been working on the Beech lines for eight hours straight. My input, should it be approved, will greatly increase the efficiency of my CLE guys/gals while simultaneously improving QOL (specifically, days off and commutability).

 Not your fault! They should have had the lines out to the union in enough time for y'all to review and submit changes. That, and they should create lines that don't need 8 hours of work on them after they are made. |

Not if your LCR language was even remotely solid. They would have to be very, very proactive to keep you out for 18 days and you would at least have some notice of what you are doing rather than the typical "OMG, how soon can you be at the airport?!?".
If they really wanted to keep current pilots, attract new pilots, and make the reserve system super effective, then they need to keep the current rules in place (all of them) and create additional rules for Long call, short call, and unfortunately, airport standby reserve. I see what you're saying, but not for nothing, MM can't even stagger the RSV lines correctly, what makes you think she can keep up with different types of RSVs? |

We need (now) different reserve availability periods, and if the company is going to insist on building standup lines, we need reserves specifically designated to cover those if need be. |

Somehow I get the feeling that with this 18 day off requirement, we are going to end up with days where we have no reserves scheduled and others where every reserve is scheduled for 4am to 4pm.

I need a Scheduling rep for each domicile. If you want it, you got it... until you're dead or I find someone better.
