You are right, that was pretty low of me. Ted I do apologize for those remarks. No need to get personal, and your beliefs are just that, your beliefs.

Aren't you still at AMF own nav? If so your "how to get a dream job 101" isn't worth a hill of beans. The people who get dream jobs are people who aren't ever satisfied with the status quo, and do what is necessary to achieve it. They sure as hell aren't a bunch of p******. Go ahead, argue with jetlife about how to get a good job, but you ring hollow because he is off furthering his career somewhere else and you are fat and happy like a pig in the mud.

I'll say it like I see it, pilot shortage or not. I don't need a bunch of AMF lifers for referrals.

I truly don't like to make enemies in this business. And even still, I would recommend anyone fitting to a job that they asked a reference for, even those I have criticized in this thread. However, to see a pilot, somebody who themselves has shared the same struggle as I, you, and many others, talking about how pay and QOL shouldn't be great, and to just deal with it, I have a real problem with. Especially somebody who is in a position of power, a position of leadership. To see a potential leader tell impressionable, bright eyed new hires that they don't deserve to be paid a livable wage, or should just be happy that they get a paycheck to fly an airplane is absolutely unacceptable and unreasonable.

LOL, you took the bait. I'm still here because I don't "have references."

If anyone wants to know the real reasons why I'm still here, we can have a personal conversation. I don't feel the need to put out my life story on the internet.

Probably as accurate as your assessment that I won't get a dream job because I complain too much.

LOL, I made no direct reference to you, you did that on your own. But yeah, if you, by your own admission complain too much, it will limit your career opportunities. Anybody else want to challenge me on that concept?

Couldn't agree with you more. It would eliminate the companies that he/she is complaining about. It will limit your career opportunities to better jobs because you can't work at the jobs that have things you complain about.

Mod Note:

Ok, boys and girls, try to refrain from flamebait, trolling, name calling, outing, and all the other not nice (some downright nasty) Internet stuff people get into.

I won't give anyone an infraction. Yet. But the next time I cruise through this thread and see something I don't like, it's bye bye to all the relevant participants.

Let's keep this thread good and informative, eh? I haven't been able to understand why some people deliberately do things to ruin things for other. The result almost always is the offender ruining things for himself by getting banned. If you want to be banned, just PM me and I'll take care of it for you. No need to soil the Forums.
