Are there training contracts? yes. What you are really asking is: are pilots required to sign them for training?
Not something they've announced, but.... Suffice it to say they still need most people to stay around long enough to be profitable even if they are nice enough not to require it.

I applied May 2nd and received an offer letter May 17th. Indoc was June 13th. Ground school and sim training for the Brasilia was June 26th - July 27th. IOE was August 1-5. My first day flying the line was August 22nd.

On a side note, I think we're hurting for guys so badly at this point that they've done away with the punishment of a training contract; and instead have opted to incentivize people to stay with bonuses and retention programs. Rumor has it we are short 40 captains system wide.

In your opinion is the company amenable to that, given the staffing issues? Beech 99 training, how long does that usually take ? Would they award the be99 to somebody with less than 10 multi or would I get the cheiftan ?
