Hope this helps.

On a side note, I think we're hurting for guys so badly at this point that they've done away with the punishment of a training contract; and instead have opted to incentivize people to stay with bonuses and retention programs. Rumor has it we are short 40 captains system wide.
Out of curiosity did they pay you salary during the time off between IOE and starting the line? Some pages back a pilot mentioned he didn't get any.

Hey guys - I'm fairly interested in applying. I'm turning 21 next month, currently sitting at 1,300TT (900 multi, 950 turbine). Currently have a gig with a private jet operater, typed SIC in a light jet. Most of my time is SIC due to my age, w/ previous 1900 experience, applying for a PIC B1900 position at Ameriflight would allow for me to build some good PIC time over the next 2 years until I'm old enough to get a full ATP. Any suggestions on making this move, from the guys currently w/ the company. Currently trying to weigh my options. Any info would be appreciated.

How much 1900 time do you have? Normally 1300 TT is a bit low for a type rated airplane. But you might have a shot depending on how much time in the aircraft you have.

There's also the Allegiant flow through after 3 years, if that's something you are interested in.

Definitely understandable, I have 600hrs in 1900, specifically in the 1900C model.

Very attractive, especially with the new contract Allegiant recently signed. I'm assuming this is just a guaranteed interview rather than class date upon reaching 3 years w/ Ameriflight?

Stop telling people lies. IT IS NOT A FLOW THROUGH. Give potential new hires a fair and honest description of the benefits the company offers.

It isn't even a guaranteed interview. After a slew of prerequisites are met, the CP has to forward your info to Allegiant, then maybe you get an interview.

Anyone else feel like they were lied to? It's a commonly used term for a program that gives you priority in the interviewing process. If you don't like the term, fine, clarify it as you just did, but don't accuse me of lying.

Flow is not a commonly used term for a preferential interview process. Preferential interview, is a commonly used term for preferential interviews. If you don't know the difference, you need to educate yourself on the agreement Ameriflight has with Allegiant, then you need to educate yourself on what flow is.

You have a tendency to spin things slightly and hope that people don't notice. Tell a potential new hire that it's a flow, no big deal right? Until they find out it literally couldn't be farther from flow, and they get ****ed because current employees were giving them misinformation.
