Good point about the codeshare, that makes sense. I interviewed and was offered the job back in late August, and they were waiting to find out about the STL flying as to whether they would have a Capt or PIC/FO class first. Well they got the flying so there was a Capt class that started in mid October, then a couple weeks later I was invited to the Nov 30th PIC/FO class. I would think that if you have ATP mins they will call you when they run another Capt class. If you don't hear anything just call for a follow up once in a while.

The flying began on Nov 8 for three cities: CGI, UIN, and MWA. I'm not positive about the codeshare, whether that has started also or if that is sometime next year?

So what does it take to get a job with you guys? I exceed all the mins by a bit, and I don't even get a courtesy call.

Usually takes closer to 2 weeks to find out something...at least for me. I emailed Krista several times over the last few months and 2 weeks is usually what it takes for her to get back to me. There is another lady that I also emailed a few questions to and I never heard anything from her. That was about a month ago. Just be patient!

Welcome to the airline industry, pilots are a dime for six dozen.

I've been patient for 2 months, meanwhile guys with 700TT are getting hired.

That might be part of the problem. As I remember it, I called or emailed them once or twice a week until I heard something back.

Took me several months to get a phone call, then a couple more to get an interview, then another month or so for a class date. They simply have tons of apps to get through, and a small hiring dept and they're not hiring a whole lot anyway. After I hadn't heard anything for a while I called, and emailed a bit to follow up (KP in recruiting is very friendly to talk with) but with everyone applying it must be overwhelming to get to everyone.

I believe the pilots hired with around 700TT were prior rampers and operations agents with us. I could be wrong on that but that's just what I heard. That would explain how they got first dibs if that's the case. Keep in mind also that if you have ATP minimums you'll be sent straight to a Captain class; if there is a need for FOs but not Captains you just won't get called. In any case I'd just check in with pilot recruitment every once in a while.

By the way, last I heard from the pilot recruitment people, you needed an ATP and an internal rec to get an interview. It's tough out there...
