Not to sure about the grey-gulls program. My advice would be if coming to Cape Air be ready to work. The duty days here are long and in old and tired equipment. Management and pilot relations seems okay but continues to have certain flare ups.

Junior FO bases seem to be Manistee, Kirksville, Quincy and occasionally Billings. Commuting at Cape is basically impossible. Most stations are EAS and the only service there is Cape. If you can't drive as a commute Cape will be a hard place to be. I'd advise sticking with instructing until you can find a more suitable option closer to home.

Again; there is money to be made here, healthcare is good but to enjoy here you need to live in base, actually like to fly and understand this a stepping-stone to build time and move-on

Not sure what the junior bases are currently but probably the Midwest and maybe BIL. Commuting here can be managed but I wouldn’t recommend it. You’re back in base every night except BIL. Also, if you’re above 800TT, look elsewhere. Management here is terrible and they dont care about you.

The technical part from the Chief Pilot. Emergency procedure during take off if on single engine.
Good luck if you're not been refered internally. Do not ask about comutting. Play along their game that you will be a happy camper living in the outstation.
Tell me a time that you exercised PIC authority. Also a possible time you were scared.

I did the interview, I felt like it went well but I’ve been having second thoughts. Couple questions I was asked about making a PIC decision and time I disagreed with a policy. Both times I used an example with my former employer who had no regard for rules and regs. I just hope I didn’t make it sound like I was bashing my former employer over actually disagreeing with the way they operated due to safety and legal concerns. I guess I’ll know Friday!

How is Cape doing with the pilot drought? Are pilots there hitting the 100hr/month or 1200/yr ceiling?

Depends entirely on the base and region. A lot of the Midwest bases have reallly good time building lines. When I was in MWA I was getting 23/25 a week regularly. Meanwhile, I'm getting max of 65/month in the Caribbean as a Captain. Not familiar with BIL or Northeast bases. Not aware of anyone personally who has hit 100/hr month regularly or 1200 year.

Pretty sure that's not a thing anymore.

Billings' lines were pretty good time builders. About 25 hours a week when I was there.
