Unfortunately, I'm on the west coast.

Does anyone know where new hires in the fall might be based?

Take this with a grain of salt, but my magic eight ball says STL or ALB regions. Depending on how they chop up the Mid-Atlantic lines this summer, the BWI region is a big possibility as well.

Striker,

Also, I'd wager a fair to good chance of openings in north-of-BOS markets... RUT, RKD, SLK. High credit, high workload, and heavy wx ops.

Oh yeah. Did my time in the north country. To anyone interested in getting on and doing that flying: That area will eat your lunch, but it's amazing experience. I loved the challenge up there; you really have to think on your feet during weather days. Coming into RUT, SLK, or LEB, you're working off hour-old weather information, and more often than not you're the only guy trying to get in. Just have to press ahead and see what there is to see, and make sure to have plans B through F sorted out in your head. Oh, and try not to scare the 9 people behind you in the process.

Loved it, but the 14+ hour days were starting to wear on me. I highly recommend doing a season up there, though.

I recommend not doing north country. It'll turn your hair grey. Right BDES. Haha

robthree / NightIP,

Thanks for the heads up. I live in NH, so I have an idea of what your talking about. A few of my buddys had the NH/upstate NY lines this winter for Cape and def. said you have got to be on your toes. I just got the pool update email from Cape today ... hopefully a class date in the near future. How
