Hey guys,
Thinking about putting my stuff in to Cape Air. Sounds like a pretty good place to get started on my career.
Currently I have 1300 total, 100 In flight IFR, 200 Night, 800 135 XC, and 65 multi.
Is this enough to be considered competitive for an FO or Freight position?
How senior is the LNC or HGR base? The reason I ask is that my dad lives near by and I can live with him for cheap.
Where do most pilots go after spending time at Cape Air? What type of doors can it potentially open?
As for flexibility. I'm a single guy and a bit of a nomad by nature. Sadly, I can fit everything I own in to a hatchback Ford Focus....
I would appreciate anyone's input good or bad.

LEB-HPN? That's cool. When's that starting up? I wonder what that will do to LEB's staffing...LEB already runs a ton of flights.

Rumour central has a couple of the LEB-BOS segments getting swapped for the LEB-HPNs. And the schedule allegedly is Early AM to HPN, sit All Day Long, Late return to LEB. If so, they'll likely need a couple more lines to make it work.
In other gossip, expect ACK and expanded MVY lines this summer, with fewer HYA lines. Maybe with company subsidized housing.

Seems like if we kept a HPN-ACK schedule going we could just have those LEB-HPN pilots through-stop to ACK instead of sit all day. But hey, I just work here.

Edit... March 15th...
Classes depend on the number of pilots who don't return from the Carib this winter. There are always some. How many is anyone's guess. I was told there is a pool with a dozen plus swimmers and 'they' are looking to get another ten to a dozen poolies.
