Yeah, I never go north of BOS so I didn't even think about it. The point being was that the codeshares were a limited and focused joint endevour with CO and B6 respectively and not the be all and end all of Cape Air. Unlike most regional carriers who though much larger than Cape are still strictly lift subcontractors for "real" airlines, Cape has its own organic reservations and marketing arms. Going it alone (ala Independence Air or ExpressJet) isn't a risky experiment for Cape, but the regular, proven model. Codeshares are the gravy at Cape, not the meat and potatos.

Hey robthree, add RUT to the B6 codeshare, too. Not that it matters.
Thanks, that somewhat clears it up for me, I was a bit confused I was just assuming you would have to do this under 121...and you know what they say about assuming anything

We've gotten recommendations from Marion, Quincy, and Cape Girardeau. Still waiting on Decatur (I think they have until the 23rd).

Not sure when the DOT makes its final decision but it's looking good for us!

Gotcha. One of our guys just went back there after being on leave. He was told that you guys were pretty much guaranteed that flying. Wonder how that's going to affect your staffing. He was just given a captain class because of it.

Yeah not sure whats going to happen, They were definatly gearing up and the rumor was that all furloughs would be recalled if it went through, but they are looking at some other EAS flying also, time will tell I guess. I Probably know who you are refering to. We had a few COLA's return last month.
