Hey I know most people on here are pointing out the negatives. But I'm in a spot that might make more sense then a guy with the experience to go elsewhere.
I'm 25 and currently finishing up a season of survey. Really don't want to do it again mainly since the pay is so low. Live in Florida but could relocate if needs. Just saw that tmc mins are 1000tt which I should be very close to by the end of June. Would this be a decent stepping stone for either a better charter gig or maybe side step to the airlines? Does anyone also know what kind of training contract they hold you in for? Thanks for the help, and if anyone knows other places hiring around 1000tt I would really appreciate it.

I know you meant that as sarcasm. However, with no age limit in the 135 world, consider that there will be a flood of airline retirees looking for "something to do" in the very near future. TMC's new motto: Out with the young, and in with the old!

Guys and gals retiring know their self worth and have respect for the industry. Maybe im wrong. Plus old people cant move as fast as young people lol.

I don't think you will fine many takers with and 8/6 or 15/13 scheduled on offer. That's a bit more than "something to do". Folk's like myself who did make that 300$ per hr flying 9 days a month international would have to be crazy. Even people who retire off domestic equipment at 240$ will not be interested. When I think retirement job copilot on a King Air or maybe helping an operator who hasn't done international flying get comfortable comes to mind.
