I'm a current metro pilot at Key lime and just wanted wanted to clarify... 2200 a month is a little bit of a exaggeration and also leaves out the fact that most pilots got a significant pay raise when Key Lime tried to simplify the payroll in early June. Take home pay now is a little over the 3,000 dollar mark for a first year metro guy and that's after tax and 5% to the 401k match program.

That's for cargo captain. I'm not sure if it's changed or not but when I started June 2012, metro FOs made 22,400 a year. FOs are only on the passenger side which is just one route to GJT twice a day. It's a 121 route so FOs have to have 121 sic mins.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Be careful, as others have said. Key Lime is known for chasing down pilots for money owed them after a premature termination. 2 years is also an awful long contract term, most training contracts are only for 12 months. Consult a contract lawyer before accepting the agreement, and ask him what your options are if you should get terminated prematurely during your 24 month contract. I'll wager you have none.

Thanks for the help guys.
They are hiring into the DoJet and EMB120. While tempting, I decided the 2 year contract was ridiculous in this hiring environment.
I'm going to tough it out instructing for another year till I reach ATP mins.
