In my experience, they seem to hire younger, low time pilots. It would be a great idea if they were to hire retired pilots. I'd give it a shot.

That is inaccurate. I've flown with many older pilots.

Not to mention if you're retired they know you won't be running off to an airline.

I know there are several retired military pilots and ATCs now flying as PICs with Boutique.

Flight leaves BWI around 2..BWI-MSS-ALB-MSS, overnight in MSS then ALB MSS BWI, back by 11ish. Sometimes they have you fly both shifts, which is a rather long duty day. But the flying is super easy. I flew the route before i left the company and it was cake. As far as hiring, i'm sure they would.

The hiring pool is pretty competitive in the fact that there's so many in it. I have it on good authority that pilot hiring has all but stopped for the time being.

"In my experience "

When I worked there, the other pilots in my base were all in their 30s or younger. I can't speak of the other bases.

I think so too, no answer to application and cover letter. Not real good HR practices and generally rude.
