So you do the math.

Things at Boutique are actually good with relatively few CDOs--way less than there used to be. They are flying more pax and routes than ever, so if that's going downhill, then ok dude!

More hiring and classes happening in the weeks and months to come. I will be here for at least another six months. There are rumors of flow through being established.
None of the PHX captains were willing to fly with him either...

On the flow topic: we have the senior Vice President of United flight operations who flies on us regularly. Talking to him indicates United and BTQ are looking at sitting down and talk about what a relationship between the two companies may look like. Keep in mind United already has a flow straight to narrow bodies for ATCA (Lufthansa’s flight school) flight instructors in Arizona after they instruct there for 18 months and meet the ATP Mins.

If you stick around any Part 135 long enough, you'll find someone with a bitter pill.

What's sad though is that sometimes there's some truth in what they say, but if you are on this board long enough you know what you can and can't tolerate somewhere and if someone is embellishing a bit.

Even life at the beloved Cape Air isn't all perfect.

BTQ is now pursuing training contracts, and they are serious about it.

Actually know of at least two non pilots who are/have been doing that. 80+ hour weeks. 16+hour days. So he wasn't exaggerating on that aspect although the use of the word crew may have been misleading since that is generally used in reference to flight crew, not the ground crew/team

That would be incredible. Is it a pipe dream or real possibility?

Lost Vernal, Moab, now Alamosa, Pendleton, Muscle Shoals with the DOT cuts due to poor load factor. They are losing bids everywhere as well. Get in and get out.
My man who in the hell is your source? Matter of fact It doesn't even matter. Just get a new one cause he/she sucks. A lot of people come in this forum with information that they received from the horses ass rather than the horses mouth. Please tell me more about how Boutique loss muscle shoals due to DOT cuts and poor load Factors..........matter of fact let me tell you. WE DIDN'T. I'm Atlanta based and I fly that route. We have are full majority of the time. Dont let your friends confuse you. Matter fact yesterday we had one out of 6 flight with one empty seat. So our loads are doing pretty well. And as for losing muscle Shoals it was confirmed this week that we have that contract for another four years. Also we start a new route out of DEN January 1st. So please don't get Boutique twisted. We aren't perfect by a long shot but we are doing pretty damn good. Next the person named "I've been boutiqued " was probably the SIC who came to Atlanta to cover open time and begged the PIC he flew with to right a letter of recommendation to the ACP that he was a good pilot. He knew his days were numbered. Talking bad about the hand that feeds you infront of the people that feed the hand is a bad idea. He got fired for his bad ass attitude. I talk crap but if u ask my passengers, I love my job and I love what I do. I've done my research and I challenge you all. With the exception of KCM which 135 offers half the benefits boutique does?
