Well, not really, but when it comes to air safety and pilots being idiots, then yes, I guess I am. Don't need anymore negative publicity then what's already out there. Cheers! Time to go have a few drinks and enjoy my days off.

LOL, I thought you were making a Pirates of the Caribbean joke. Not commenting on anything other than the words you used.

Oh well. I'll let you guys get back to talking about Boutique.
There is some truth to that. I flew for a while up there. Anything West of BET is pretty flat till you get to the coast. That means that some of the guys who think they really know the area will go up in weather that one would not down here in the lower 48. You can putt along at 200 feet and not hit anything for hours.

You can probably get away with that in the BET area. Go anywhere else in AK and its a different story. But a lot of guys cut their teeth out of BET and think they can do it elsewhere.

I think though things have gotten a lot better than they were and no one out there intentionally wants to crash.

No worries. Great movie though. One of my favorite lines to use.

Not only is United starting a program, so is JetBlue. Lufthansa has trained their pilots this way for 30 years..... Will Boutique will get the same agreement? I hope so
Yes, please do. They will have class dates at United after they log 3000 hours total at CommutAir or Expressjet or 1000 hours as a captain in service to those regionals. About 4-5 years and then their class date.

Ladies and Gentlemen, just a few questions for pilots currently on staff.

Do you have overnights out of Denver on the PC-12?
What does it take to get the ATP course > King Air? Another contract?
Are upgrades happening immediately at 1200 hours?
How's the Denver QOL? I hear it's quite expensive.
How's the company environment? Good management?
Does the contract begin pro-rating immediately or does it take awhile?

Thank you for any answers in advance.

What does it take to get the ATP course > King Air? Another contract? I DON'T KNOW THE PROCESS, BUT THERE IS ANOTHER CONTRACT

Are upgrades happening immediately at 1200 hours? YES

How's the Denver QOL? I hear it's quite expensive. I DON'T THINK SO, BUT I USED TO LIVE IN NEW YORK. I LOVE DENVER BUT HAVE HEARD COMPLAINTS ABOUT EXPENSE

How's the company environment? Good management? SPEAKING ONLY FOR MYSELF, SO FAR I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE COMPANY

Does the contract begin pro-rating immediately or does it take awhile? CONTRACT STARTS PRORATING AFTER 6 MONTHS

Thank you for any answers in advance. YOU'RE WELCOME

I'll take the questions that aren't answered on this page or the one before.
Yes, Denver has overnights. Constant duty overnights actually. Yay coffee.
King Air requires another contract, in the 20k range.
Denver is expensive to live, comparable to LA. Traffic is getting there too.
Your assistant chief pilots out of Denver are some of the best people I've ever met, aviation or otherwise.
Contract starts rolling as soon as you pass your check ride. PC12 starts being prorated after 6 months. Im unsure of the KA
