I know you’re being facetious but just stop joking about it and realize that it’s 100% what they are doing and it’s 100% within their right. I’m not saying it doesn’t suck and you shouldn’t complain, but I am saying that remember the way this company operates when you’re in contract negotiations. Same as it ever was

There is lots of talk of having a large (50+) class in July and August. Many are suggesting an increase in flying and an increase in flow.

For those saying no one is coming to Piedmont, look again. The future is here, now.

LOL good joke.

If anything there is going to be a mass exodus of pilots from PDT leaving for frontier, spirit, atlas. Not to mention when United/Delta/AA start hiring. PDT is behind the ball again, they have not even started upgrading anyone yet…

The pilot group is largely unhappy and will leave the first chance they can if they are not the top 100 on seniority.

Not picking on you specifically CADR and this is open to anyone that is willing to expand on this. What is driving this sentiment? I've seen it a few times in different threads and some of the reasons/terms used are totally foreign to me as a newb in this world while trying to figure out who I want to apply to. Why is the pilot group unhappy? Pay seems to be inline with the other AA wholly owned, so it's obviously more than that. Now I know what folks feel like when the DOD starts throwing out our whacky terms...

Thanks!

I’m near the top of the seniority list and in June I have 13 days off and won’t break guarantee. That’s bad.

this...I’m in the same boat. average 11-12 days off a month and you don’t make much over min if you do. you get the life sucked out of you at this place. qol is low here. it was nice when upgrades were moving and there were positions to take up to escape the place...maybe that arguement will come back when we start moving the seniority list again.

So, is Piedmont not seeing the same uptick in their flight schedules as the others? Will be interesting to watch and see if things start to come back to "normal" further into the summer.
