IN addition, the top 100 guys or so at pdt refused the flow ,and that number is growing. So if you get in now one can only assume that you would have alot shorter flow time compared to Envoy or PSA.

Why would the number of guys refusing to flow grow? The people flowing now are at about the ~10 years seniority point and are still quite young in the grand scheme of this career. I don't think we're going to see anyone else at this point refuse the flow for any reason other than taking a job some place else.

Not everyone see the brass ring the same are very happy where they are.
If your an instructor, making over 100k in their late fifties... they are happy. Have a good house, paid off.. They don't want to start at the bottom of the barrel.. reserve... just to fly a different airliner?

I think that on the surface, PDT does have the faster flow, at least mathematically.
I think that PSA's attrition is alarmingly high as compared to PDT. We are expecting to lose more than 30 a month (we lost 30 last month), and nearly 400 in a year to outside attrition. A good number of these are from the top of the list.
Well more than half of our pilot group have more than 5,000 hours in jets and have been in the regionals for 5 years or more. Most of these are the 200+ lateral transfer pilots that we picked up in 2014 and 2015. They are all now captains, have 1000PIC, and are leaving in droves.
PSA is sending more pilots to Delta each month than flowing to AA right now, and I know we have sent quite a few to the other Majors in the last few weeks alone. The flow to AA is a small part of our attrition from the top of the list.
In reality, we are sending just about as many pilots outside of the flow to AA now as we are pilots that are flowing. One of our CPs is leaving for AA soon, and I know of several other pilots that have interviews or class dates at AA in the coming weeks and months.
As pilots see that even FO's that are junior to them are getting picked up by JetBlue, Southwest, and others, the more senior captains that are waiting for the flow are starting to send their resumes out. We have guys that are less than 6 months away from the flow attending job fairs and getting picked up at other majors.
But, if you have to decide between Endeavor and PDT, PDT is a much better company to work for.

People have certain QOL concerns. Some people don't want to go through the training event, for many reasons. Some people are near retirement. Some have health issues. Some are expecting babies or have a wedding scheduled, or a sick parent at home. Or a business on the side that being at the top as an FO at a regional is all they need.

As for your second post, I'm a Piedmont pilot and have no idea how you arrived at that conclusion. Dont get me wrong, I'm REALLY happy here and highly recommend it to my friends, but as a compariosn we do some things better than they do and vice versa. Both are equally good options. How, without working at either, did you determine PDT was "a much better company to work for"
