Don't focus on the flow. Get hired, upgrade and start applying as an external candidate as well. The flow should be viewed as a back up if you don't get picked up sooner. You don't know what is going to happen in 4 or 5 years.

Agreed. Take the flow as a form of insurance.

Lol no. I was hired in 7/2015 and when I left in October, there were over 100 ahead of me to upgrade. At that time they were not upgrading anyone. Now they're doing five-six a month as the contract requires when they hire CQFOs. Upgrade at tsa is definitely not six to eight months. For someone hired today, it's no less then three years unless there is a drastic change. Ask those hired there before me and with me that haven't upgraded yet.

What's your point. The guy said that people would laugh when they say they were at TSA. I just said that there are many people at Legacies who were from TSA. So, it's not the joke you are making it out to be. That said, again, I wouldn't recommend it unless you live in one of the bases.

Well yea Tsa is like going to Great Lakes, you go because you know you have a job waiting for you somewhere else(dad is a 747 CA) but you only have 172 time and need quick logbook padding.

Actually what's really sad is that Tsa his hiring Mesa rejects.
