You’re right they entered that contract to fly at a company, however they never got the opportunity to do so. And now other regionals are hiring not to mention other Wholly owned regionals and envoy doesn’t have any intentions on training them anytime soon supposedly. But some of them can go to PSA, as if they were already PSA cadets and others were not extended that opportunity yet, but hopefully they will be.

You have a copy of a cadet contract? They would have to put themselves through ATP-CTP and pass the ATP written before they’re eligible to be an FO according to the contract. It’s more than just reaching the ATP minimums.

No they don't get paid by envoy, they flight instruct and their paycheck is sent envoy and then to them from envoy with deductions for healthcare if they choose to get coverage. I think PSA and Piedmont do the same thing. The cadets can collect their bonuses however, most I know used it to fund their CFII, MEI, or to start paying back some student loans.

Yes. I have a CJO, class date cancelled by COVID, and was recently scheduled to update my interview. Now being told that I will have to start the process again from the beginning. I’m a little confused on the sudden change.

I'm curious what qualifications the people who got that email have. 121 Time? TPIC? SIC? CFI? Don't mean to prod but this whole selection process is starting to entertain me.

I know of multiple Envoy cadets who hit their hours last Spring and Envoy said if they didn't have a job for them in 6 months they were free to leave with no penalty and did not owe them anything... they're flying 135 or out of the industry right now, so I highly doubt Envoy is currently telling cadets they have to sit around for 6+ months or they owe them money.
