Commuting to reserve isn’t fun. And requiring 2 legs to commute across time zones isn’t fun either. Avoid those and it won’t be the end of the world.

No it’s not most likely. When the TA is officially signed, all future NH’s will not make the cut for flow. If DALPA wins in arbitration the flow is gone with the 35 RJ’s.
Anything in the future holds zero merit at this time. This discussion was about a CJO holder living in CLT lucky enough to have multiple choices for employment.

Continuing the commuting questions trend, how bad is it honestly to commute to any PSA base from MCO? Also considering MLB-CLT as it would be own metal and same drive time for me.
I know just about any MCO commute sucks but looks like a ton of flights between some PSA bases.
How are reserve schedules for commuters? Longer blocks on/off or a lot of 2/3/4 on to 1-2 days off?
Currently a corporate bubba on heavy metal but some personal circumstances have lead me to looking more into PSA in particular and EDV as well. Appreciate any insight.

Endeavor you’ll be flying clapped out CRJ200’s and a much longer upgrade time. Whole point of a regional is to upgrade and get your PIC turbine hours ASAP. Regionals suck compared to the majors so if it can suck less by not commuting, do that. It’s temporary so stop thinking you’ll be there forever or long enough for a 5-8 year flow...
