Just going off the lists we're down 108 Active Captains from the high we had in December. This latest list showed 111 pilots come off the list published in April, and only 20 of those were flows dropping off.

It's getting crazy around over there.

Meanwhile, AA just announced its going to start operating several 'flights' in buses out of PHL.

There is less than a 5% chance that PSA exists in 2 years, let alone 5 years. PSA is parking airplanes and losing pilots. The newest seniority list shows a net loss of pilots again. More alarmingly is the loss of even more check airmen. At least 10 that are on the list are not active, and another 8 that I know of are leaving soon for greener pastures. There are barely enough check airmen to keep the current pilots qualified.

No one hired today will ever flow with the current agreement. Those that are flowing today had a completely different system when they were hired that looks nothing like it looks today. The same will be true for you.

Well, right now it makes sense I guess. I've been here a couple months and my seniority number already dropped by like 200.

I think FG2021 nailed the basics in his post above. The mistake that no one should make is thinking that’s an issue specific to PSA, because it’s an issue at all the FFD Regional carriers now. Any one of them is an absolute roll of the dice at the moment, so if you’re going to roll the dice, at least go to one where you won’t have to commute.

The simple reality of it all is until some dim witted MBA figures out that throwing more money is not going to solve this issue, but rather the ability to accrue seniority on a list that pilots actually want to spend a career on, this situation will not change.

Can you get hired with a restricted CDL, then flow to the regionals?

What seniority number is currently flowing to AA and how can I check this myself?

How do I know who is a lifer on flica seniority list?

And also how do you guys find out how many people are going to AA outside of the flow, how many check airman are leaving a month, how many are going to united, etc?

Where are these stats obtained, as I'd like to give them a view myself. Can't find it anywhere
