I was DHDing out of PGV on Peidmont about a year ago. My FA and I were standing outside the hotel waiting for the Peidmont crew working the flight to come down and discussing what are dinner plans were going to be that night. Then this Peidmont FO comes out to get in the van and stands next to us as we were deciding if it was going to be a chicken or steak night. She then butts into the conversation and proceeds to tell us how much harder the Dash 8 is to fly than the CRJ becasue we dont really fly it. all we do is "push buttons" while you "actually have to fly the Dash". At first we were confused as this comment was irrrelevant to the conversation taking place. But then we realized something, she was right. I am not a very good pilot and I tend to struggle with the "button pushing". Thank you Dashgirl. I refer to that day as the "Awakening" for me. I have since set my standards really low and am never disappointed. I've never felt so free!
That makes two defts now in just a few posts....Wow, so many people that can't read on this site. America's education system sure is in bad shape when we have illiterate pilots flying around. FRACKING READ THE WHOLE DAMN POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez you guys are tools! And you BOTH own me an apology! It would upset anyone to have their statement completely twisted around just to make them look bad. Or do you just like to pick fights with someone that had absolutely nothing against you or whatever aircraft you fly? Even more so I answered this nonsense a few posts up yet you STILL decided to pick a fight....

I love psychology. Understanding that humans are not as different from one another as we like to believe it enables someone to see right through BS like it was crystal clear water. I.E. someone on a message board decides to further the effort to make another poster appear to be some unreasonable fool all over a statement that was grossly misunderstood. They then realize that they were wrong in their interpretation and then instead of simply apologizing, thus establishing a rapport of mutual respect where getting an actual dinner may have been possible, they attempt to cover up their mistake be feigning the attempt was simple teasing and was not in fact a post of actual criticism. Ah the pilot ego....That at least I do understand...
LOL, I need a yawning smilely..anybody got one?

you know, I always wonder if managment reads these boards, back of compass cards and crewroom bathroom walls. No wonder we are treated like 3rd class citizens instead if educated professionals, If I was KH, i'd read this and laugh while loosing all respect for my pilot group. My plane is cooler then yours? I'm a better pilot then you? Are you guys kidding me or what?

Alright...It seems I'm going to have to spell out my comment more plainly for those who lack the will to absorb it's point. First of all. If you actually read the original post, which, I'd say you did not. You would see that there was a larger statement made then what Flight84 decided to quote. I plainly stated in the following sentence that the better pilot thing WAS NOT...

What part of this do you guys you fail to grasp? Because my 9 year old cousin just read this whole thread and thinks you guys need..and I'll quote her.." to go back to school and improve your language skills."....MAN! But, just to demonstrate my objectivity here I'll also confess she told me to take a chill pill...She's right. Last post on this sidebar.
