Why would a highly qualified pilot at XJT go to PSA? And please don't use the new airplanes and "quick upgrade" as a sales pitch. Been there, heard that before, done that.
So, please, tell me what makes PSA better, and why should someone give up their current seniority and pay at XJT and start over at PSA?

We have Captains at PSA that are making $80/hour but reality are making $180/hr due to the SAP. Flying 65hrs and crediting 140.
Figure a 4 year f/o at $40/hour. If he credits 140 hours but only works 65hrs is making $86/hour. Highest in the industry.
The only way management can stop us from doing this is to overstaff the airline. And that isn't going to happen with 30 airplanes showing up.

Quick upgrade? That's all perspective. I feel pretty secure in saying compared to XJT, the upgrade at PSA will be faster.
We have 30 confirmed 900's coming (actually 29 because #1 is on the ramp in DAY). There are options for 40 more. Where are Envoy's 47 -700s going? Time will tell.
This is a great pilot group and the culture here just keeps getting better.

As I said in my original post, each person needs to make his/her own decision. PSA is a very good place to work. Is it the best? It may very well be depending on the person.

The post was a reply why someone would come to PSA from XJT. I am confidant that the 47 CRJ -700's are not going to XJT.

Then you're celebrating it and using it as a recruitment tool, quit arguing semantics. At best you're a high school educated stooge paid to troll these forums for your recruitment department, at worst you're a pilot with an agenda.

Doesn't really surprise me though coming from a US airways owned carrier!

XJT's parent company has 300 on order and 300 options to go with them. And they will all be owned by the parent company, not the mainline carrier that will continue to use them as carrots every few years. I'm not sure PSA could bend over any further, but AAG will give you the chance in about 2-3 years.
