so how long does compass have? 3 months of hiring, then anyone going there is being lied to?

Compass won't start getting the airplanes for at least 10 months. Then they aren't going to show at once. So you can add the delivery times to the upgrade times. Plus PSA is planning on getting more than the 30 additional airplanes. Upgrade will be at 2 years soon.

First delivery in February. That is 8 months from now. No set delivery schedule but 1-2 per month is pretty normal for aircraft deliveries. Don't forget Compass is losing an automatic 150 per year to the Delta flow. Compass will need 200 new pilots to staff the AA flying plus another 150 to replace the flows. That doesn't account for normal attrition to other airlines like Jetblue, Virgin, United, AA, etc.

And current projections show less than 2 years.

It's sad people are comparing PSA to Compass. Compass voted in gains for a promise of nothing and received new planes. PSA voted in concessions to take Envoys planes. I wouldn't want PSA on my resume.

To be fair it's not like Compass voted in anything earth shattering. Some of the items voted in other regionals already have, I'll give credit where it's due though and that's it was a gain not a loss.

We haven't taken any of Envoy's planes and there are no plans to transfer Envoys planes to PSA.
