If you look back at the active FO's on the seniority list, there really are not that many FO's hired in the first 6 months of 2014 that have been bypassed. It looks like about 120 names. Some of them will not upgrade, so say about 100. With 36 Captain upgrades a month, it will not take long to pick up the guys that have been bypassed.
A year ago classes were not nearly as large as they are now. It looks like only ~30 were hired last January and February.

the 20+ pilot classes starting Jan 2014... how many finished is one thing.. but there hasn't been a class below 25 since then I think

You're not taking into account attrition and training failures when looking at the current list. My early-2014 class had 28 with 2 no-shows.
