And no, flying a cessna for 100 more hours in the pattern will not get me any more ready for another 121 long term training.

I agree on this!!!!

Just like ATP pilots split time for their cross countries with "hood" time.

INDEED!
also Try waiting to hit 1500 as an MEI/check airman and a business degree from a prestigious school while seeing other CFIs who only instruct private pilots going to regionals first at 1000 because they have an aviation related degree.

Does anyone know what classes are currently in IOE? Last I heard, the people who took their checkride in December were in IOE, but that was a few weeks ago.

Thanks

I started in the Jan 5th class and we start sims this coming week so I'm assuming the late Dec class should be in IOE now.

I was in a November class, and most of my class is not done with differences training yet. Last I heard, early October classes were doing IOE, but not sure where it went from there.

I was just trying to figure out when I would be going to IOE.

How long after interview do you usually start training? I haven't interviewed yet, but have an obligation the first week if June. Just wondering if that's a deal breaker..

People interviewing today are being given April class dates. That is about average. 4-8 weeks.

Definitely agreed,

I somehow had a similar situation. I interviewed with 1200 and was placed in a pool for about a month and a half. I emailed them once I was 1350 and told them I was going to be ready for a feb class, but was assigned to mid march class. I recommend communicate at least twice a month for them to see your progress and make a informed estimation for a class date. Good luck,
