Mid-October class is getting calls for IOE now. A few are finished with -200 and waiting for differences IOE.

Seems to be about a month between differences ground school and the start of IOE. Just be careful if you travel because some guys only got a day or two notice.

6-8 months for now.

That could change here with some FOs getting their 1k hours SIC.

I'm not picking here, honestly. However, it would seem a bit nerve wracking if you were, say, an ex EMJ driver...come to PSA. Finish training in 5-6 months is what it looks like. Get 1-3 months on the line before heading back to training for uograde. I'm sure some can handle it, but it seems a recipe for disaster.

I know I know: Your APDs would never pass someone who is not ready, but I have seen it happen plenty at Eagle too: bad apples can still play the training game fine. After all, it is more of a stage act than anything else.

Just seems like some alarms should be going off about this. Just me. Again, I'm not trying to start WW3 here as usual, so go easy. I didn't call any names or insult anyone's manhood.

Pilot Crusader - I think that everyone at PSA is concerned about this as well. It doesn't benefit anyone to have someone that is not ready sitting in the left seat.

There are guys with 7-10 years of experience with other airlines, some with time as captain, that will be ready to upgrade in that time. For the most part, that is who is upgrading that quickly. The 7-8 year FO's from Endeavor are really helping things at PSA right now. As are the former Comair guys. The military guys are the third group that are upgrading quickly.
