I thought they were hiring several pilots for the next year or so?? Very strange.

My sim time was an airline type rating. Emb 145

You have 100 hours in a Sim for your type rating?

I have more than that, that includes initial, loft, recurrents, recurrent lofts etc........ 100 is the maximum you can use. I got hired low time at another airline in 2011, called to active duty military in 2012, law changed while I was gone, now I need to get to 1500 to go back to being an FO again. I am right there if I use my sim time, all the other regionals I have interviewed with will count it. PSA won't, recruiter said I am likely to not make it through training unless I have 1500 hours in airplanes. Guess I need to go fly a 172 on VFR days for another 2 months so that way I will maximize my chances of making it through CRJ 900 ground school.

I hope your not advocating logging time that was not actually flown. I know of several people that are being looked into. Let's keep some integrity in this profession.

My log books are true, I plan on keeping them that way. I will just probably end up going to one of the other regionals. I am bummed cause PSA was top of my list.
