As stated above the 25 per class is just to alleviate training back logs and have guys just sitting at home waiting for IOE. The 700 classes were told to expect 4 months from start date to IOE. As far as hiring slowing down, I don't see that happening any time soon. The head of operations mentioned as long as classes stay full American will continue to send more planes our way past what has already been announced. That can always change tomorrow but that's the direction things appear to be going. It was mentioned PSA has the lowest operational cost out of all the regionals doing American flying so that's always a good sign for the future.

The base you want to transfer to may have more senior people than you.
You could hold top 20 percent in the more junior base and be at the bottom 20 percent at a more senior base.

Sure, I would prefer 757 mainline FO pay, but that is not the current reality right now.

Their upgrade is actually artificially low now. People are upgrading out of order because their new hire hiring craze really didn't kick off until spring last year. In the next 3-5 months, the pipeline of 1000 hr 121 new hires will start uograding and that train won't stop. With over 1100 pilots now, they have hired their growth Captains for the most part. It is simple math. I don't think their upgrade time will be super high - maybe 3-4 years for a new hire starting this summer, but don't think you are gonna go their and uograde in a year and a half.
