The pilot contract doesn't allow the hiring of street captains.

The top captain pay was 94/hr when I was there from 2004-2007. We told Parker where to stick the 900's because he wanted us to fly them at 200 rates.

I guess it was when your MEC bent over and took concessions to get the 900's while whipsawing Endeavor (Eagle) at the same time. The captain pay has dropped to 87/hr.

How about you get your airline names in order before you continue to provide us with your invaluable propaganda.

I don't think half the people on this board even work for an airline...

Can any of the new hires from PSA give a good number for take home pay while in training? Theres lots of info out there about pay and whatnot, and I realize that this may vary based on state income tax and stuff like that, but I was looking for a ball park figure to start with.

Thanks!

Oh, and I realize its not going to be much, so those comments are unnecessary.

First month was $2,700 take home, due to collecting per diem 24/7 during indoc/IPT's. The second month was $2,100 take home. I spent a couple weeks at home waiting for oral and sims during that time, so the difference is the reduced per diem.

I want to support your endeavors, but you have to give me something to work with.

Since you are referencing top captain pay while you were at PSA, 18 year pay has increased to $102 an hour an continues to rise. You can compare 12th year pay when you were there and 12th year now ($89/hr) and can see that it has also increased.
