I typically get 12 days off per month while crediting over 95+. Mostly 4 day trips spread out semi evenly. I don't pay attention to report times so I don't care but most of them are early shows through noon.

Can any of the recently hired PSA FO's give a rundown of a typical month. Im talking about mainly, once you get on the line and actually flying. Im just trying to get an idea of what the schedule would be like for a low senority FO.
I know way ahead of time there will be some dues paid and the schedule will suck, just trying to get a snapshot of what the time on and off will be like. Im about a 3hr drive from TYS and have family there or Im about 10 min from BNA so I could commute to CLT.

Next month I have a pretty junior Round 1 line. My earliest report in TYS is 1020, which would be pretty doable from BNA if you were driving.
IMO, you'd be way better off just driving to TYS as you'd never have to have a crashpad in CLT to hang out it while sitting SCR.
PM me your number if you've got any other questions.

I'm TYS based and just finishing up IOE. This month I have a Long Call reserve line which means they have to give you a 12 hour callout.

There are instructions on the PSA's alpa forum. Just search it and use the most recent one (i think it was from 2015) because some of the older ones are out dated with the server info. I just set mine up recently and its kinda a PITA. I didn't think i got all the info setup rght (kept giving errors) and just gave up on it for the night, then like 30 minutes later it dinged with everything in there.

The email server at PSA is antiquated. Modern servers use Active Sync which works everywhere as is simple to setup. Having said that, their webmail works very nicely on a mobile device and you may like that better.

He's talking about booking a flight with like united or alaska, pretty much any other airline than AA or US. Which I don't know how to do that either. I know we can jump seat them after IOE but I'm not sure how to book.

The easiest way to find out listing policies for jumpseating is to download the ALPA app for your phone. It will have all of the information you need to get started. Bear in mind that some companies will require you to list beforehand and some will accept walk-ups. Do your homework beforehand to make sure you don't get left behind.
Also, make sure you get yourself access to the PSA ALPA forum which is a great resource for questions like this.

Does anybody know how long reserve is in DAY? Is it long or short call or holding lines right away? I'm still waiting for IOE and was just awarded CLT, but thinking of crashing with family in OH for a few months to avoid as much reserve as I can.
