Do you honestly believe management is going to agree to an increase while thier expanding and still filling classes? It's not going to happen this year, that's almost a sure bet. Pilots from deadend regionals and other crappy jobs will continue to jump ship and help management staff the airline. As it appears right now, the 8-month upgrade will be around for at least another year. The contract at PSA is better than compass, Mesa and Transtates.

PSA is only 1/2 way to their ultimate goal of being a 150 airplane airline. They've been very successful at attracting new hires but they need to remain attractive, keep that pipeline full, and keep their relative cost structure low. For that reason, I'd be shocked to see PSA/AAG do anything (by way of seeking more concessions) to make PSA less attractive to potential new hires. Of course, I've seen airline management(s) do a lot of stupid things in the past, so maybe I'm giving them more credit than they deserve.

Yea I do think they will agree to an increase... But I've been wrong before so we'll see. Latest word I heard was that AAG wanted up to 16 p/month and PSA said no because they would not be able to handle the added attrition off the top right now. There is already a shortage of FOs because of how backed up the training pipeline is. Anyway, I heard 10 p/month is what they are going to go with. They may delay that until this summer sometime to hopefully get some more FOs through the training and out to the line. And we are losing guys to other places than just AAG as well. I've spoken with a handful of CA's in the training department who are going to UA, UPS, JetBlue, etc in the coming months. I think there will be some real movement off the top come the end of the year.

Move will stop if the training department pilots go to ual dal or anywhere else. Takes just ad long to get a be instructor if not longer than a captain.

We got about 900 active pilots I believe. 90/12 is 7.5 per month. I wouldn't expect more than 8 a month which is still 200% more than the current amount. If it's 10 a month, then I might actually have to stick around...

And yes I believe it will be straight flow as the interview process in place is a joke and waste of resources. I haven't heard of anyone that was rejected involuntarily.

Hey, so I was in the american airlines PNR travel site (current PSA employee) and I booked my dad for a flight to thailand just to see how much is cost. When I completed the booking, it didn't show how much it cost, or prompt me to input a card number to pay. Does everyone on my travel benefits fly for free with american and just pay for us airways?

It will be taken out of your paycheck. You have to select the option in the drop down menu to see how much it will cost.

Where is the drop down menu at? is it at the booking page or the confirmation page?
