Keep in mind that if you are a must ride that some gate agents will tell you that you have to take the jump seat so they can get a revenue passenger on. You do not have to take it. Nor should you.

I do not believe that we have the ability to change our deadhead seat assignment, like I was able to do in my previous job working United Express Flights. If we can, I would love to hear how.
