SSP will change to a flow and increase to 12/month until 2018 when it will then increase again to 10% of the list (1700-1800). And yes there is a possibility of more aircraft coming beyond the current plan of 150.

Out of curiosity why 2018?

Each October class only has one or two guys left. The majority of the Nov. 10th class is currently doing IOE. At least half of the Nov. 24th class has started IOE or is about to. The Dec. 8th class has three guys working on IOE. The rest of the class is still waiting. I'm not sure about new Check Airmen.

Is this credible information, or an educated guess?

Sounds like you'll not give up a seat in the back and sit upfront for a few hours so a fellow non-rev can come along too right?
Until you affect 50, 76, 100+ other paying pax who can't get home or work because a JS couldn't get on

I'm wondering the same thing... It's not far off from what I've been hearing though.

There will be a teleconference set for 4/27. I'm sure we'll hear something solid then. My guess would be straight flow and 8 a month for now.

Default LCA attrition & retention

Right now PSA is still way short on LCAs. There are around 50 fully trained LCAs and another 20-30 that in the process of completing the training. Training is aware that their LCA turnover is going to be a major issue, but they don't appear to have a viable answer.

If you have a LCA letter, you will likely get a call within months from united and delta. United has poached a good amount of pilots. If management thinks the current SSP or a small increase is good enough to retain LCAs, they are dead wrong. Without LCAs, this growth plan is dead in the water.

The process doesn't seem long. I flew with one captain who applied and then the next month he was on the LCA list.
