The most junior round 1 line holder in DAY for May was one of the most junior people in the Sept 29 class.

It looks like reserve in CLT is around 5 months.

That's for round one, what about round 2. Rsv may be less? You could be able to bid round 2 earlier than 5 months..

Round two is a combination of build up lines and RSV.

Don't know how many build up lines there are in CLT, but in TYS it seems like 4-5, vs 50ish round 1 lines.

Reserve is a combination of long and short call lines.

If you don't get a round 1 line then you are guaranteed a round 2 schedule. You'll hold a round 2 reserve line before you even start IOE, but they'll just take everything off until you actually start flying. There were 134 lines in CLT for May, so I wouldn't expect much more than 10% of that number for build up lines, so maybe 10-15 total. That'll probably take it into the first October class, but not much past that.

I applied on April 8th and still haven't heard back. Is that typical. 3 of my friends have gotten hired over the past couple of months and the heard back with interview times within a day or two.

Personally, I would give it at least 2-3 weeks from the time of the application, and then give them a call just to make sure that they received the application and see if there is anything else that I need to do.

Remember the old days where you had to wait 6 month or more?

OK, thanks! I just found it strange that somebody who applied 3 weeks ago got their list of interview dates/times the next day. I guess they've gotten backed up.

It's funny because I had to wait over a month before I heard anything back from my current employer.

Could be because the are compiling smaller classes now or so I've heard.
