Most mainline pilots don't even know what the names of the current cadre of regional airlines are. "PSA huh? I haven't heard of it...your uniform looks like USAir?" Insert almost any other regional airline. Add that to the fact that most mainline pilots could honestly care less about regional politics. The fact that you think they care makes me wonder if your even an airline pilot... I hadn't even heard of PSA until about a year ago. And I'm sure the same goes for most other 135/91 guys. Your just delusional sublime.

Cool pic, that was the PSA paint scheme before deregulation, a whole different company, and long before (Vee Neal Airways) was even thought of. It's for nostalgia. It would be kind of like if a regional happened to be named Eastern or TWA. Not the same.

I was at a job fair a few years ago and talking to a recruiter for the mainline that my regional provided feed for, and they had never heard of the company.

I guess if you are a senior mainline pilot with lots of time
off you might not know ..There are more commuting to work
these days due to over bookings that are riding the jumpseat ..
