He probably does not want to see pilots at his airline that he knows will roll over at the first threat from management.

Yeah, because mainline leverage and regional leverage are the exact same thing.

Makes sense.

Yeah at the majors it is a little harder to ruin your fellow pilots lives by bending right over for a whipsaw.

When's the last time you saw major airlines whipsawed against each other?

When have you ever seen Anderson give away flying to United?

The fact that you think they care makes me wonder if your even an airline pilot... I hadn't even heard of PSA until about a year ago. And I'm sure the same goes for most other 135/91 guys. Your just delusional sublime.

do you really think so?

Cool pic, that was the PSA paint scheme before deregulation, a whole different company, and long before (Vee Neal Airways) was even thought of. It's for nostalgia. It would be kind of like if a regional happened to be named Eastern or TWA. Not the same.

I'm sure most mainline pilots are aware of the regional PSA

Absolutely not. How many captains have you had on your jumpseat that had no idea who the regionals were? It happens to me all of the time. We wear the same uniform and they don't pay any attention.

I was at a job fair a few years ago and talking to a recruiter for the mainline that my regional provided feed for, and they had never heard of the company.

I guess if you are a senior mainline pilot with lots of time

these days due to over bookings that are riding the jumpseat ..
