The Useful PSA Thread

It's your MEC that is pushing for no planes unless we can steal their pilots too.
Call and ask them.
The letter they wrote to national is dated May 6th
the first word on line 4 of paragraph one is "committment."

The PSA MEC is attempting to allow Envoy pilots (only those who want to come) to get first bid at the soon to be street captain positions, that is all. If they don't want to come then they will take applications from the many other candidates that will be waiting in line to start at $62.90 an hour in the left seat.
Have you asked your MEC reps for a copy of the letter?

Right here is whats wrong with this debate. You call this hypothetical move poaching, and PSA calls it a staffing and safety net program for Envoy pilots that might have been further damaged by your ex-outfit's shrinking. Maybe the shift would include mechanics and fa's as well, have you considered that? All I am saying is, it's time to examine things based on their merit and not to go on preconceived notions of pilots vs management. I do not know what this alleged program entails, so I will not wildly speculate until I hear details. I urge you to do the same.

Gladly. In-fact, if it is revealed that part of the framework of the effort was to actually FORCE Envoy pilots to leave than I am already issuing a pre-emptive seal of disapproval.

I am catching mixed signals here. According to Cujo, arriving at your final staffing and fleet numbers will start to positively turn the airline around so one would assume that a transfer of planes and pilots would help expedite this cause. But more importantly John, you seem to have a completely different take on the future prospects of Envoy, regardless of the 700 transfer. While I understand that you are no longer a representative of Envoy, I am trying to understand why you guys are completely out of sync. I am honestly trying to hear and absorb what you guys think is going to happen to the airline, but all I am perceiving is "spin." If you can take a minute to shed your union caps off for a post or two and tell me what you all envision for Envoy's future, I would be more than willing to hear you all out.

So Envoy is supposed to retain emb 145's, 175's and 700's on the certificate when AAG has explicitly stated they want one-fleet wholly ownes, because it helps your short term upgrade times?
