Why would the envoy guys be mad? Well let's see....You get awarded our planes and we shrink and stagnate. Before even taking a single airplane, your Union sends a letter to ALPA national saying that taking the planes right now will cause you to implode. They then suggest we(envoy) should commit to helping you by striking a deal to send you our pilots with the planes.

Well why not keep the planes, and the pilots at envoy? Would that not be better for all of our pilots? Should they go over to PSA at the bottom of your list and sit reseve forever, making $62.90/hr, or by keeping our planes longer, should they stay here and make north of $80/hr, and flow faster? You guys say you didn't ask for what happened to you but your arguments are selfish. Our pilots would make more money staying put and letting the natural course play out. You make it sound like you are doing our pilots a favor when once again you are really self serving. Your Union needs a blanket party.
In all seriousness, I don't have the answers. All I know is that there are bigger pieces at play than either you or I have knowledge of. Some on this thread do make PSA look bad. But a lot of you guys come on here and stir the pot needlessly. Both sides egging the other on. What's the point really?

I would accept the standard ALPA integration. Consolidated regional airlines would be in pilots best interests. Better bargaining power, no whipsawing. Not that it matters, the whole thing is about to crumble down around us anyway.

You really are an idiot. It is not PSA the company doing this, it is PSA the pilots, or at the very least the voice of the pilots, trying to do this....take our pilots to get our planes on schedule. If you cannot take the planes right now, no problem! We will hold them for you and it will help our senior FOs upgrade faster. Basically it would help bridge the gap between our 145 shrink and the 175s coming on line. It HELPS pilots you daft twit! It helps you guys too...You can sort out your twisted training bubble and take the planes later.
Instead, your Union has gone super greedy and wants to actually try and get our pilots over there, making much less than what they would upgrading here, just so they can move up even faster. Sorry. On every account that is greed and selfishness.

No beef with you Chris. I tend to stay away from this thread these days, but I do read it from time to time. Unfortunately, you are right about the bickering. I will only say that I am generally "reactive" anymore and it takes a lot more than it did before to get me going. This right here will truly define who this new PSA pilot group is going forward.

Oh you are right. I just got off the phone with the president of PSA and told him this same thing. You know what he said? He said "shut up, your just a pilot. Leave the airplane schedule to us". Back to the drawing board. Any other suggestions?

And if you would post the letter, then we could read it and we may agree with you. Until then, we have no idea what you are talking about.

Not interested in the standard ALPA screw job integration. Date of Hire.

So how long do you think it would take for Envoy to upgrade the likely 200 to 250 thy would come to PSA as CAs?

If we were to keep the 700s longer? About the same time frame. It bridges the gap until we get the 175s. We are losing 20 CAs per month to AA alone. Really the average is closer to 30 because quite a few guys are moving over to UAL and LCCs too. In November that number goes to 30 a month to AA. Quite a few of our senior FOs are headed to UAL and LCCs as well. Basically, upgrades could resume as early as next month and go at close to 15 per month. They would retain their seniority and not be on reserve forever. Senior FOs would still flow in the next 2-3 years, rather than 20.
