There's a big difference in voting in concessions to take someone's job and voting in concessions to keep your own job.

PSA is the bane of airman professionalism. You guys tell the big guns to keep firing and we'll keep coming for more.

You took jobs from compass and republic by voting in concessions at envoy.. Seems like it's apple to apples...

You really are delusional. I stole my own Compass job at Envoy.

In reality, us at Compass are taking Envoy jobs, the difference is we did not vote in concessions, nor want them. They should remain at Envoy.

No matter how much the PSA pilots try to hide that, the rest of us know how it went down.

Well, as we can see,.... it's time for another review of history,...... again.

1(a) Parker offers PSA pilots new CRJ 900 jets in exchange for concessions. PSA Pilots say no, and those jets went to Mesa.
1(b) Parker offers Envoy pilots new E-170 jets in exchange for concessions. Envoy pilots say no, and those jets went to Compass.

2(a) Parker offers PSA pilots new jets in exchange for concessions. PSA pilots say no and Parker sent those jets to Republic.
2(b) Parker offers Envoy pilots new E-170's in exchange for concessions. Envoy pilots say no and Parker sent those jets to Republic.

3(a) Parker again offers new CRJ 900's to PSA pilots in exchange for concessions, with the caveat that the airline would be shut down if they said no again. PSA pilots took the deal.
3(b) Parker again offers new E-170's to Envoy pilots in exchange for concessions, with the caveat that the airline would be shut down if they said no again. Envoy pilots took the deal.

So as we can clearly see, it's ok for Envoy pilots to take a deal in order to save their jobs,....... but it's not ok for PSA pilots to take that same deal in order to save THEIR jobs.

I can't believe I'm responding to another one of these but it's been a while and I'll make it quick.

During negotiations for our concession TA the gist was not "vote in concessions and we'll give you Eagle flying." It was "vote in these concessions or stagnate and die, most likely by 2018 when your 200s start coming off lease. We will not keep PSA around to fly 14 700s."

No one at PSA voted yes to "take anyone's job." They voted yes to save their own. Which, coincidentally, is the same thing Eagle and PDT both did. For some reason it was perfectly acceptable for PDT and Eagle?

At the end of the day the flying does not belong to Eagle anyway, or PSA/PDT either. We are all taking flying from mainline pilots, every single one of us. Us taking flying from mainline is how the system has been set up. If you want a job at a legacy and aren't military pretty much the only way to make that happen is to work at a regional. The same thing is true of wholly owned carriers. We cannot bid for outside flying, and are at the mercy of our mainline owner. This is the system that has been created. It wasn't created by accident.

We all know how it went down. No matter how much you try and spin it the PSA pilots voted in concessions to take Envoy's jobs and the all the Envoy vote do is preserve what PSA hadn't taken already.

You can't argue with history.
