We just recently hired some guys with rotor time, so it must be a new development.

Real men actually just fight, not sure what face time would do.

Former CH-46/MV-22 guy here. There's a former CH-53 pilot as well. No issues with our hours.

Mod Note:

Everyone knock it off. This "new" PSA thread is almost one year old. Do your part to see this grow old like the venerable DAL Latest and Greatest thread.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't like to put anyone into t h e disciplinary system, but I'll choke it down for the best interests of the community.

Everyone in? Good.

I have spoken with them a couple of times. I am probably heading there soon. I just happen to live in Dayton right now and thought that I would hear them out.

I'm retired ARNG, SC. There were two Army RW guys in my class. One had FW time in the Army as well.

Both are at Mesa now. One, who was to be my sim partner, busted the ATP oral. The other, my partner in IPTs, made it through the oral but was paired with a guy who came back to 121 flying after 2-3 years off. His experience was EMB-145. During sims, there was a lot of "we didn't do it that way on the 145" and "we didn't do it that way at brand X."

My IPT partner was offered a ground instructor position, so I'm told, but turned it down. He's DFW-based so he can be closer to his daughter.

I flew with lots of RW guys at Comair and would fly with any of them again.
