Also, the "2 paragraph taxi brief" is there for a reason I'm sure everyone knows about.

Maybe Slick was talking about having to fly with you. Sounds like you are a real joy to fly with.

How would I destroy the chance of going to American by going to PSA? Is it because I had heard something about PSA flying Envoy's old CRJ700 aircraft? I had had someone tell me there was some friction recently over this.
I smell troll...

The management has always been responsible for stiffling PSAs growth, now more than ever.
It seems to me and a lot of other people that their old, outdated, way of thinking is eventually going to ruin them. They don't know how to think outside the box,be innovative, and embrace new ideas and ways of doing things. If you're unwilling to change ,especially in the environment this industry is in now,you are basically doomed, it's just a matter of time.
The sad part is everyone can see it except for the kuntry inbreds in charge lol.
And yes ,I said KUNTRY.
Hopefully something changes real soon for you guys. Pos contract, horrible schedules and, work rules, **** poor management, ...man.
How are those new, cramped,****y 900's looking now??The ones that all customers hate??Smh..

first post here

Been hearing of lots of FOs leaving recently. I know of several personally who haven't even been on property for a year and are bailing for greener pastures. Management better solve some problems quickly or else the exodus might just get worse.

Fix the SAP. Attract new hires and retain pilots with a clear and direct career path to AA (12 to 16 /month would work well)

It seems like the company is always losing the forest for the trees and has handled the rapid growth less than gracefully. And there are a lot of options out there right now for qualified pilots.

First year FO's generally do not SAP as they are not senior enough.

Even the best flow negotiated will be no more than 25% as Envoy has 50% and PDT has 25%.

If you are here at PSA you are here for the quick upgrade. In and out. There is 70 more airplanes supposed to be coming, plenty of opportunity for a quick upgrade for a while.

If you can live with all this, then this is the place for you. If not, get in the flow line elsewhere.

Do you think we will get those 70 airplanes if we can't staff them?

If PSA can't staff them then I don't know who can. Last I saw people were banging the door down to get here, pushing 60 pilots per month through.

It's clear pilots value quick upgrade. And why shouldn't that be #1 on a pilots list anyway, American Airlines is not the only game in town.

Any word on how many PSA is interviewing currently? I interviewed a week ago and there were "5" in my group. Just curious how frequently they are interviewing and if this how many they are attracting?

PSA is hiring 1000 pilots over the next 24 months per their facebook page, that is still a lot of growth.
