I believe that the thought is that XNA is a maintenance base for Envoy's 700's. When the 700's leave Envoy, they will likely lose their jobs. The employees that work in maintenance are employees of Envoy, which sort of makes them employees of AAG in the grand scheme of things (not really, but that is the argument). They can keep their jobs when the 700's leave by just collecting a paycheck from a different WO'd if PSA makes it a maintenance base.
It would be an easy transition. They will still work on the same airplanes, in the same hangar, for the same pay and benefits...just with a paycheck from a different company.
Personally, I don't believe it.

Well I know PSA is in talks to takeover XNA as a new PSA Mx base. And if history tells us anything, PSA loves Mx/Crew bases together. I'm just drawing the line based on what they have done in the past. I hope it isn't XNA for a number of reasons. I would like to see ORD, STL, or even MSP over XNA.

If they really loved the mx/crew base combos, TYS would be a MX base and CAK a crew base. CVG has both because the hangar is the largest out of any MX base and is has more daily flights than just about any other non-hub city served by American.
