Can you link to the press release? I'm guessing not since it doesn't exist. Let me guess, a little birdie told you so? *yawn*

You have a pretty loose definition of the word "official".

There are plenty of press releases about this.

"As a stable carrier owned by the largest airline in the world, PSA has a defined and committed fleet and growth plan. Since 2014, PSA has doubled its size from 49 aircraft to 115 aircraft and will continue to grow to operate 150 Bombardier CRJ aircraft."

If you are at a company that is limited to the number of airplanes that it operates, or has a finite amount of flying, then you are correct.

That is not the case at PSA.

Time on reserve is tied directly to the number of people behind you. PSA will operate as many aircraft as we can staff. Once you have a sufficient number of people behind you to cover the reserve spots, you will be holding a line.

There were lots of people hired in 2014 that sat reserve for 3 months or less. That was because we were filling classes and taking delivery of new airplanes. 2017 will be much like this again.

I know many people that have spent less than 3 months on reserve.

So those articles state the transfer should be completed by the end of 2016. Did that happen? Or did I miss the article where PSA deferred delivery of the 700s due to their inability to staff the airline.

You're counting the 700s that are already supposed to be on property as "new arrivals"

You keep referencing 2014 as the golden age. Are you forgetting the training backlog? Of course guys were only on reserve for 3 months, they had an additional 3 months between ground school and sims.

Sorry I'll let you get back to your office in Vandalia.

I didnt have any backlog at all. I went from Dayton to sims in 5 days and IOE in 2 weeks. Was on the line...sat 1 month short, 1 month long then held a build up w/no reserve and then round 1. I have held round 1 from then until now all the way through upgrade, he isn't wrong, perhaps inflating the truth, but when it comes down to it, why does it matter. Hopefully this year (17) is better than last (16).

The 700's were interrupted for the addition of more CRJ900's, but you already know that. Taking additional new airplanes is not a bad thing. The first quote was from an interview and press release this week:

PSA Airlines | PSA Airlines Announces New Crew Base at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport | December 12, 2016

The backlog does not really change time on reserve. The backlog was prior to, and proceeding most new hires. From the time that you started IOE, it was about 3 months. If the training backlog did not occur, it still would have been about 3 months.

And do you really think that any management work on Saturdays at 11pm?

I completed IOE in the middle of one month, and held my first Round 1 the following month. Right time, right place, right base. Some of my classmates spent 3-4 months on reserve in CLT.

Round 1 Awards are already out, Round 2 will be in about a week. I'll get it published sometime after Christmas because I sure aint sitting down to do it ON Christmas.

I suppose I should clarify for the sake of the uninitiated.

We're looking for press releases after the originals in 2014. As you know, Parker and Isom talked about the halting of the transfers in the town hall meetings in early 2015. That would mean something in the last year saying that the transfers are resuming.

I didn't expect you to quote the old ones as I thought it was understood that those were no longer accurate. I suppose I underestimated your willingness to once again rewrite history.
