I had an absolute dream run on the 140/145 in NY at my time in Envoy. But classes literally a 2-3 months after were handed a bag of d***ks and were stuck for over 12 months on reserve, and some longer as they bid out to more senior bases.

Timing is everything. Envoy is great if you live in base and hit the timing right. It’s mostly luck and it’s a very small target to hit.
Agreed.
I really don't know much about the 145 side, but hitting 100 a month on the 175 is easy for FOs.
Congrats on moving on btw.

It might be easy for now. But do you really know how it will pan out in a few months time for a new hire? No one really knows. My only point is just because you have a dream run, inevitably 90% others are not.

I used to sing the praises of Envoy based on my own experience at 6 months in until I saw how others have made out. And that was before management started handing out step letters and firing people for simple mistakes etc

The only relevant time at a regional is right now. Who knows what will happen in the near future. Not long ago, Endeavor, Skywest, Republic etc were complete dumpster fires, and Eagle/Envoy was the top dog. Who the hell knows.

Still missing the point. You keep pointing out your dream run (as I did when I was 6 months in), but you forget to take note of others wasting away around you. Mostly simply due to timing.

Envoy is miserable unless you’re on the dream run.

I think you're missing my point. Every regional has it's dream run, and every regional is miserable if you're stuck in a limbo.

My friends at Endeavor and Republic HATE it right now. They got hired outside the dream. (EDV with their ridiculous sim scheduling, and RPA with their class date delays). I have 200+ hours more than they do, and we had roughly the same start date.

You need to read what I replied to originally.

You have to take an educated, holistic look at a company, have a little foresight and be willing to gamble a bit. I got made fun of for my selection at the time. Most junior upgrade was 5 years, non-competitive hourly rates, old equipment etc. But I saw that there was basically a three year gap in the seniority list, they were closing several bases and opening new ones (so lots of attrition) and with the soft pay the ability to make a lot of money. Upgrade time is now below a year.

Was there some luck involved? Absolutely. But if you’re willing to really dig in with the research you can find which airline makes the most sense for your goals. It just requires analyzing where the company will be in six months to a year, not where it is the day you interview. Most people could’ve predicted that when EDV and Republic filled classes a year out that people would be waiting for sim time. Even if sims go quickly any properly staffed airline is going to have long reserve times and low reserve usage. EET is eating up every spare hour available in sims in the US and many new hires will require additional training.

This, +1. Ignore the APC fools and make your own educated guess. The APC trolls provide very little information about what really is going on.

But you are the pinnacle of APC trolling. Trying to convince everyone that envoy has 1 month of RSV and "industry leading pay"

Where have I said Envoy has "industry leading pay"? You're just making sh*t up.
And Envoy 175 in DFW had 1-2 months of RSV after IOE for the past 6 months or so. This is a moving target, YMMV.
