Glad to hear that block hours are going up in the a/c that will be around. But I know that without a saab replacement it won't be pretty for a while. And besides without the saabs it's just another regional. I was sad to see the avros leave, now without the saabs XJ just isn't the same.

Perhaps for the better as you would already be furloughed if you had been hired. On a good note, by the time we get to hire again you will be able to reinterview.

It was indeed for the better as I had just been offered another flying job at the time. I guess sometimes it's better to be lucky...

someone needs to change the title of this thread...no new hires for awhile, and I think it's safe to say everyone's been with the company long enough, to not be classified as a FNG

I hear ya on that... flown two day trips, and one dsm overnight this month. Luckily for me they switched it up a bit and through me on some AM ready reserve!
