I agree, I thought he was talking about voluntarily switching seats. If you are forced out you have no seat lock.

You know you are right, I didn't read his post very well. I presumed that because we are furloughing and there is a lot of seat switching...Sorry.

If you go to another seat voluntarily - you are subject to a lock.

I thought seat locks were 2 years.

Newhire seatlocks are 3 years. If you make the swap from FO to FO spot then you are seat locked for an additional 2 years.

This is only my opinion but.....I have been told that they will ramp up over the next few months to keep the summer staffing stable. So I would expect 1 or 2 more realignment/reduction after this one depending on size. Possibly one or two of these things in the fall/winter months. It should be pretty quiet here over the summer.

Just two, my schedule would be a lot better on another airplane and definitely happy there were no furloughs this round.

Ditto and Ditto.... If it weren't for the pay cut I'd have already voluntarily bid down.

Reserve for M3F, great line for M9F or M6F with the same hire date

Anybody know what happened to the half time lines? Seems like they made such a big deal out of them when they first started and now they just disappeared. Seemed like a great option for someone who needed to get some dates off, but couldn’t afford to take TOWOP and already used vacation.
