Yea, The LOA for them expired at the end of 2009. The union asked to continue it with a new LOA. The ball is in management's court. It shouldn't be taking this long to resign the same agreement that we already had but then again it shouldn't have taken so long to get it done the first time.

(OK I admit, a largely pointless post to keep the thread alive)
Realignment posted and once again the bottom 2 CR9 in DTW are reshuffled. The 2 being bumped out didn't even get to fly the plane. On a related note that leaves only 7 reserve lines in DTW with most of the line holders at or less than usual days off.... If block hours go up for the summer we may be finding ourselves very short. Not to mention if the April "possible furloughs" actually go that could really get messy.

You think if we're that short they may not furlough till fall or maybe we will not get much of an increase in flying this summer.

It will have to be one or the other.

They are actually going to let them finish IOE... Not that it matters anyway.

Right now they dont have enough to staff, at least on the 900 side. Every time I talk with scheduling they are below their target reserve numbers, even for March.

+1 This was the reason they denied my trip trade for next month.

Where did you get this info. It would be dumb for the company to do so unless they are expecting to keep those captains in the 900. As soo as they finish IOE, they get the new pay scale. If you displace them before IOE, they are still on a lower pay scale during training for their new position. I highly doubt they will let them finish.
