EDIT: I forgot the best one, Growth
For what it's worth, the E-170s and growth were not rumors, they were guaranteed in writing before the BK judge threw the writing out.

But don't forget these rumors...
  • Electronic Flight Bags
  • ACAs DoJets
  • Freedom's 900s
  • BigSky's 1900s
  • Buying IndyAir
  • Buying JetBlue
  • getting United Flying
  • Sold to Republic
  • Sold to Mesa
  • Sold to the Cincy Reds
  • Muellers buying us back
  • Crew Rooms in concourse B
  • Getting out of the trailers
  • ACARS
  • Delta parking 100 Comair planes if we don't sign concessions by 01/2006
At least we did get...
  • eMaestro
  • New CEO 2005
  • New CEO 2006
  • New CEO 2007
  • New CEO 2008
  • JFK Base
  • AQP
  • Subway and Qdoba in concourse C
  • New employee busses in CVG
  • larger crew room in JFK
  • profit sharing
  • less Memory items
  • Piper's gone (new guys - he was the pre-soap)
  • New digs in Boston (they're Continental's now...)
  • CRJ900s (but only after Pinnacle, Freedom, SKW, and Mesaba did)
  • Many other wonderful, marvelous things that have since been taken away...

My workcenter was already cut twice and we were safe but we got dumped onto someones lap and are trying to merge us with the maintenance schedulers who has never had cuts. Now our butts are on the chopping block again since they have to cut 6. They're trying to corner us with this 'merger" with the other group and some illegal stuff is going to happen if they don't stop. Serious legal stuff like Enron stuff! It won't be us, but I can see someone from the other group being pushed to do something. Max fine per individual is $25,000 and the company is fined a heft sum too. HR turned their backs on us so they could focus on helping all the MCO people. So I can just wash my hands of it take the package and get my stinkin 3 years of yieldfare, stick with it till they cut me, or watch the legal emplosion. Decisions..decisions..decions!
Dude! If you know of shady **** going on, let someone know.

Hasn't happened yet, though I'm sure it will. I had a meeting with HR and explained the law and the legal ramifications of what the merger between the groups would be if there were no intervention by HR or the company. Well I've decided to stick it out and make them kick me to the curb. I think I'm going to go make a trip upstair and sit down with Ng4. He might be interested in what I have to say...or maybe not.

Any other furloughed guys out there get screwed with the insurance. My letter said that we would be covered till Feb, 28 however was told by my DR that I am uninsured as of Jan 1. Called the insurance company the said the same. Looked at my paychecks no money was taken out for medical. This happen to anyone else?

I got F'd in January too. I just checked my last paycheck and the Anthem website, and they took out medical on the paycheck and the Anthem site says I'm current up till "Present".

OK good looks like an HR mistake not the company screwing with us. Thanks for looking. Can't blame them they only have like 2 people in HR trying to do the job of 100.
