Comair updates?
As everyone knows, the trick is to avoid JFK and ATL and chose your times wisely.
I traveled BDL-MCO on mainline twice (once in feb and once in March) and only had to ride in coach for one of those legs. And chose my flight times at low demand ie bdl-mco 6:50 departure on a friday and mco-bdl 10:30 departure on a monday

There was a thread in the majors section (recently closed) about a woman who was a former United captain/aspiring artist, and it sounds like she will be looking for nude models. After she gets her settlement from United, she will probably be able to afford to pay a pretty decent salary!

I traveled my arse off since getting furloughed... europe a bunch of south florida, and the midwest for grad school stuff... I havent had a problem....ALL through JFK and ATL..... as for unemployment running out yeahhhh... it sucks. luckily i have a part time job and yeah it sucks when i drive 65 miles to work and make the same amount as I would on unemployment sitting home, but u have to look at it from the perspective of.... i am extending my unemployment....even though u wont get unemployment this week bc u worked, you WILL get it. many people say why work if u can make more sitting on your butt......well..unemployment runs out.....

court case was heard on Jan 30th and the judges have up to 90 days to make a decision. They still have about a month to decide if they want it.

Have you guys noticed the increasing number of lineholders getting displaced? In the past week there have been a lot of people getting displaced. I can't really figure out why. I haven't heard of an increase in sick calls, the WX has been good and we have had a number of 100% completion days. Reservists are being sent home and displaced lineholders are being given some pretty bad schedules. The company is now using lineholders as reservists because it is cheaper for them to operate this way. I personally think this is wrong. If you are a lineholder and you get displaced, I would definitely be asking why?
